Dirty Dancing isn’t just for movies. Fancy footwork from Jennifer Grey has landed her on top after Monday’s premiere of Dancing With The Stars. Waltzing to "These Arms Of Mine" from the same movie, Grey spoke emotionally about deceased co-star Patrick Swayze and ended with the highest score at the end of the night.

Also performing with panache were basketball star Rick Fox, singer Brandy and Disney actor Kyle Massey. Fox’s girlfriend, actress Eliza Dushku, cheered from the stands. Fox will have some pro-athlete competition from ex-football player Kurt Warner, who acquitted himself reasonably well his first time out.

Audrina Patridge, Florence Henderson and Michael Bolton made up the middle of the pack, along with political daughter Bristol Palin. Palin, first appearing in a conservative grey suit, ripped off her outer layer to reveal a short red dress and danced to the aptly named "Mama Told Me Not To Come."

Not quite so graceful were bottom scorers David Hasselhoff, Margaret Cho and Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino. While The Situation had an excuse—filming Jersey Shore gave him less time to prepare—Cho and Hasselhoff could not blame their awkward dancing on lack of preparation. –AMY LEE
