A Danish member of the European Parliament directed profane language at President Donald Trump on Tuesday, Jan. 21, following Trump’s comments that he wanted the United States to take over Greenland. Anders Vistisen, a member of the right-wing Patriots for Europe political group at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, delivered the remarks during a debate discussing the impact of Trump’s presidency on US-European Union relations. “Dear President Trump, listen very carefully. Greenland has been part of the Danish kingdom for 800 years. It’s an integrated part of our country. It is not for sale. Let me put it in words you might understand, Mr. Trump: F— off.” Vistisen then continued his address in Danish. (Credit: European Parliament via Storyful)
