Cleveland Cavaliers players served Thanksgiving meals to community members in Cleveland on Tuesday, Nov. 26, footage shows.
Footage released by the City of Cleveland shows Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland plating and distributing meals to Cleveland residents at a local restaurant on Tuesday. The event was part of an annual initiative called MealsGiving.
“It’s super cool to give back to the community and put some smiles on people’s faces,” Garland said.
According to a local news report, Garland and other members of the Cavaliers distributed more than 1,000 meals on Tuesday.
