Blond-tressed heartthrob Casey James was eliminated from American Idol on Wednesday night’s results show, narrowing the race down to the two finalists Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze.
Before James was voted off, we got a chance to see him completely in his element in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. He was greeted by hundreds of screaming fans, primarily girls. He couldn’t stop giving his thanks to the fans, but also let a few swears slip out from amazement as girls chased his limo. He also visited the hospital to thank the doctors who saved his life after an accident a few years ago.
"I’m so thankful for the opportunity and it’s been an amazing, amazing journey," James said right after the results were revealed. "I’m just so honored that I’m here. It’s amazing." –JULIA ALKON
