Talent won out after all: Jennifer Grey took the crown on this season of Dancing With The Stars, despite speculation that strong voting scores might propel Bristol Palin to the top.
She didn't need to do any dirty dancing to win. Grey has consistently been on top all season, and last night was no exception. Each of the contestants turned in two dances, one of their choice and then an "instant" cha-cha. Grey scored perfectly on the first dance, where she danced the Viennese waltz, and also scored highest on the second dance.
The actress, 50, had ruptured a disc in her back earlier in the season, battled pain, but managed to cover it up. Overall, Palin came in last, while Disney star Kyle Massey nabbed second. It was the third win for Grey's partner Derek Hough, who won in previous seasons dancing with Nicole Scherzinger and Brooke Burke. –AMY LEE
