Wiz Khalifa, 24, and Amber Rose, 28, are expecting! The engaged couple made the announcement on the red carpet of the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. Rose’s noticeable baby bump gave away much of the surprise, but it didn’t stop Khalifa from shouting the news with excitement to MTV’s Sway. "Well, Sway, you know you my brother man, so we had to do it with you first and we had to do it with the whole world, and just let everybody know that we're expecting a beautiful young baby," Khalifa told MTV. “We're having a baby!" It seemed fitting that Rose and Khalifa decided to make the official announcement at the VMAs. At the awards show in 2011, the couple addressed the possibilities of marriage and children, both of have now come to fruition a year later "We discuss it all the time; like he said, we're very much in love," Rose told MTV last year. "But, ya know, we're just going to take our time and just enjoy each other right now. We're both really busy and we work really hard and when the time comes, it's gonna come." "It's gonna happen,” Wiz said. “My baby knows I love her. I'm committed and she's committed, so we're just gonna make it happen." The couple's decision to announce the big news at the VMA's brings to mind when Beyonce Knowles, 30, revealed on stage at the 2011 VMA’s that she was pregnant and sent the media into a frenzy. The last few years have been a whirlwind ride to stardom for Rose, born Amber Levonchuck, who is perhaps known less for her professional pursuits – she has modeled for Louis Vuitton and appeared in numerous music videos – than for the company she keeps. Rose had a high-profile relationship with hip-hop superstar Kanye West, but the couple parted ways in 2010. Before dating Khalifa, Rose was also linked to NFL running back Reggie Bush, Drake, and NBA star Amare Stoudemire. Rose began dating Khalifa in 2011 and they were engaged last March. Rose took to Twitter to thank her 1.3 million followers for their support.
