A man trying to evade police early on the morning of Nov. 11, after allegedly stealing two cars in a suburb of Melbourne, Australia, was caught by police after getting tangled in a fence.
According to Victoria Police, the 19-year-old man was driving a stolen Holden Commodore in Frankston when officers tried to stop the car at about 1:15 a.m.
Police allege the man then sped away from officers, and a chase ensued, resulting in helicopters being brought in to assist. The driver then jumped into another car, an allegedly stolen Land Rover.
“The driver finally dumped the car after he crashed into a fence at Westall railway station,” police said.
Aerial footage shows the man attempting to scale a fence before officers caught up with him.
The man was arrested and was expected to be charged by police.
