Victoria’s Secret Angel Lais Ribeiro Reveals $2 Million Bra

Victoria’s Secret Angel Lais Ribeiro has revealed a $2 million Champagne Nights Fantasy bra for the lingerie company.

Ribeiro has walked the annual show’s runway five times before, and this time she was the highlight. The dazzling bra carries more than 600 carats of shining gems, including diamonds, yellow sapphires, and blue topaz, all set in 18 karat gold. The piece took almost 350 hours to complete.

“Did you see my face?” the 27-year-old model asked in the reveal video. “I can’t even – I’m like shaking.” Ribeiro was awestruck by the bra. “Anything I say now will completely downplay how incredibly excited and honored I am to be representing this iconic brand. It truly is a dream come true,” she added in a later interview.

“Victoria’s Secret has supported me from the beginning,” she continued. “They have instilled confidence, hope, and a strong business sense,” she explained. “When you work this closely with a brand you get a chance to understand a completely different side of the business; it’s inspired me to look at my opportunity differently.”

Ribeiro first showed off the bra Nov. 1 in New York City, but the real reveal will happen at the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, set to take place in Shanghai on Nov. 28.
