Brooklyn Beckham went as his mother Victoria Beckham’s date to the Glamour Women of the Year Awards Tuesday night.
Walking the red carpet at London’s Berkeley Square Gardens, the mother and son pair matched in black. Brooklyn, 14, sported a sleek black suit while his mother donned a Maison Margiela bustier jumpsuit, accented by a gold clutch from her own collection, according to the New York Daily News.
Victoria, 39, was honored at the event with the Woman of the Decade Award. On stage to accept the award, the former Spice Girl and established designer said, "I love to celebrate women. Girl power. It's great when women support women. We need more women out there supporting women. Thank you Brooklyn, my date tonight, who's the most handsome man in the room tonight," she added, reported Us Weekly.
“Thank you to my husband, who does everything for me, he supports me, he encourages me to follow my dreams and fulfill my passions,” Victoria said. “I've been so blessed to have two careers. I have been so lucky . . . here's to the next ten years. In ten years I will be nearly 50!"
Brooklyn, the eldest of the Beckham brood, is following in his father’s footsteps into professional soccer. He’s recently signed on with the U-14 Champions League Queens Park Rangers, who train near the family home in West London. David Beckham officially retired from the sport last month.
