Robert Van Winkle, more commonly known as rapper Vanilla Ice, 43, has some cold words to say about his ex, Madonna.
Ice briefly dated the singing sensation in 1991 when he was 24 years old and she was 33. "Going out with Madonna was exciting," he admitted to News of the World, according to DigitalSpy.com. But their relationship came to an end when Madonna's controversial book, Sex, hit stores in 1992. "I broke up with her after she printed that book because I was hurt to be a unwitting part of this slutty package. It was disgusting and cheap. We were in a relationship yet it looked like she was screwing all these other people."
Ice claims that he was misled by the pop star. "I thought she was taking pictures and running round naked because she was like that. Then when the book came out I was so embarrassed and ashamed. It was a porno. She threw me in like I was a product off a shelf and I didn't appreciate it. That was it and I ended it. She said she didn't have sex with these men [in the book] but it looked like she was," he insists.
Though he may feel hurt about the way things played out, Ice gives credit where credit is due. "She was older than me and a great lover. She's still the oldest person I've ever been with, so it was an experience."
Ice can currently be seen in the British reality competition, Dancing on Ice.—KIMBERLY STEELE
