Vanessa Hudgens released a teaser for her new single “$$$ex” on her just recently activated Twitter and Tumblr accounts on Tuesday.
“We just wanted to dance and get crazy,” Hudgens wrote on her Tumblr. “You don’t have to go to Spring Break, you can bring Spring Break to youuu! We had ours in the kitchen. LOL! Sooo much fun.”
The Spring Breakers inspired track is a collaboration with girl group YLA (Young L.A.) – whose vocals are the only ones heard on the teaser. The video clip features Hudgens along with the YLA girls dancing around a kitchen in bikinis and ski hats while sucking on popsicles, blowing bubbles and flipping off the camera.
Hudgens, 24, is making it abundantly clear that she’s no longer the young girl who starred alongside her former boyfriend Zac Efron in Disney’s High School Musical.
