Morgan, 33, and White, 41, tied the knot in Ocho Rios, Calif., on July 5 in an intimate ceremony attended by 26 family members and close friends. One of the wedding guests was Morgan’s best man, Constantine star Matt Ryan, whom Morgan has known since his teens.
“It had a very rustic feel to it,” White told People magazine of her wedding with the Originals star. “There was nothing about it that was overwhelming or very huge or fabulous in that way. We tried to keep everything really intimate and beautiful and sort of get along with nature.”
"I think one of the reasons we picked [the location] was because we love the ocean and we both grew up by the sea," White continued. "To be by the sea was wonderful. And the people of Jamaica are just wonderful."
For the nuptials, White wore a Vera Wang dress, while Morgan sported a Miguel Wilson tuxedo with an ivory jacket and black lapels. " I had a bow tie," said Morgan. "In fact, the bow tie was the first bow tie I've ever tied myself, so I was quite proud of that."
At the reception, Morgan and White danced to their wedding song – “Never Let Me Go” by Florence + the Machine – and enjoyed music by Jamaican drummer group Children of the Drums. The newlyweds and their weddings guests dined on a vegan menu, which concluded with a triple-layer chocolate and vanilla cake.
Morgan and White met on the set of The Vampire Diaries in 2011 and became engaged two months before they tied the knot.
