A trailer for Luc Besson‘s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, based off of the Valerian and Laureline French comics, was released on Thursday.

Writer Pierre Christin and artist Jean-Claude Mezieres, have written and produced the series since in 1967. The film stars Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne as Valerian and Laureline respectively.

The trailer, featured below, shows flirty Valerian and serious Laureline, partners in their time and space-traveling government job. Rihanna also makes a momentary appearance in a blonde wig. The film is expected to be released in July 2017.
