Lukyanova debuted a different Barbie physique this week when she shared photos of her new six-pack abs. Her waist, while always defined and tiny, is now decorated with impressive abs, showing a more toned look.

According to Lukyanova, her new buff bod is a direct result to the assault she suffered in October of 2014. Lukyanova claimed that two men attacked her outside her home in Ukraine, sending her to the hospital. “Since then, I decided to seek not just relief, but good and strong muscles like a female warrior Amazons! I was inspired by the Queen of the Amazons – Medusa… Her body is perfect, I think,” she wrote on Facebook.

Lukyanova added that her new body has helped her feel confident in her abilities to protect herself in the future, saying, “I think, without exaggeration, that I can cope well with a man, if I was again someone dares to attack. Now I have the strength to rebuff. And that’s just the beginning.”

Her experience certainly seems to have inspired her to put on a bit of muscle, and she has been sharing workout photos in the past few months, showing off her body transformation.
