Following a captivating halftime performance at the Super Bowl and the release of his latest studio album Coming Home, renowned R&B star Usher is set to embark on his highly anticipated “Past Present Future” tour this summer.
The dynamic 24-city tour will commence on August 20 in Washington D.C., with stops planned in Brooklyn, Miami and Atlanta, as well as a special inaugural performance at Los Angeles’ Inuit Dome. The tour will culminate with two nights of shows at Chicago’s United Center on October 28-29.
Usher’s Coming Home, released on February 9, boasts an impressive lineup of guest appearances, which includes Burna Boy, Latto, H.E.R., 21 Savage and more. Additionally, Usher recently announced his headline appearance alongside Janet Jackson and Backstreet Boys at the highly anticipated Lovers & Friends festival, scheduled for May 4 in Las Vegas.
Usher burst onto the music scene with his self-titled debut album at the age of 16 and gained immense popularity in the late 1990s with the release of his second album, My Way.
With 33 million albums and 87.5 million digital songs sold in the United States alone, Usher’s impact on the music industry is undeniable. His global reach is equally as impressive, as he has sold 150 million records worldwide. At the end of 2009, Billboard music publication named Usher the second most successful artist of the decade, the number-one Hot 100 artist of the decade, and ranked his fourth studio album Confessions, released in 2004, as the top solo album of the decade.
