President's Day has provided ample time to check out new releases this weekend. Liam Neeson’s thriller Unknown came in at number one, reaching $25 million over three days, while another strong performance by Gnomeo and Juliet edged out newcomer I Am Number Four with another strong showing in its second week. The family-friendly fairytale reached $24 million for the weekend and $55 over two weeks, while the young adult sci-fi film led by Alex Pettyfer brought in $22.6 million. Martin Lawrence’s Big Momma’s House: Like Father, Like Son rounded out the top five with $19 million in its opening weekend. Colin Firth's The King's Speech broke the $100 million mark, taking home $7.5 million.
