Unable To Pay $190,000 Maintenance Bill, Prince Andrew Takes Up Yard Work At His $38 Million Estate That King Charles Is Trying To Evict Him From

Britain’s Prince Andrew has taken up yard work on the $38 million Royal Lodge property he has called home for years. Andrew reportedly must pay a $190,000 maintenance bill to preserve his Royal Lodge property and prevent the residence from spiraling out of control.

Andrew was expected to leave the royal property late last year when his brother, King Charles, cut him off financially. However, he was able to avoid eviction by the skin of his teeth as an anonymous financial source emerged to back him at the last minute. This was not before King Charles began to remove all precious belongings from the residence for fear that Prince Andrew could not preserve the family’s precious artifacts.

As Prince Andrew works to save money, he has taken up yard work, no longer able to afford landscaping. His lack of skill has reportedly resulted in the 21-acre garden appearing in a “shocking state.”

Experienced gardeners’ landscaping costs could range from roughly $24,000 to $32,000 annually per gardener, meaning the total cost could exceed $119,000 for an estate such as Royal Lodge.

Prince Andrew has lived on the property with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson since 2004. Last week, he was slapped with new calls for eviction as King Charles is reportedly more and more “fed up” with his younger brother after new contacts with the late sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein, were revealed. 

Following accusations of sexual assault from a victim of Epstein, Prince Andrew lost all his financial sponsorships and honorary military titles.
