Uma Thurman’s ‘Burnt’ Premiere Look

Thurman arrived at the red carpet in New York City in a fitted green custom Brandon Maxwell dress. The actress paired the flawless number with Alexandre Birman sandals and Chopard jewels.

On the red carpet, Thurman posed with her Burnt costars Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller.

In Burnt, Thurman plays a snobbish food critic named Simone, who helps onetime culinary superstar Adam (Cooper) convince restaurant manager Tony (Daniel Brühl) to let him run the kitchen. Also helping Adam get his good name back in culinary circles is sous chef Helene (Miller).

Cooper, who’s starred multiple times opposite Jennifer Lawrence – who penned an essay about pay inequality in Hollywood – recently weighed in on the issue himself. As an actor who frequently stars opposite some of Hollywood’s best actresses – including Thurman and Miller – he feels it’s only right for him to do what he can to help them achieve equal pay.

“Today, it’s so hard to get movies made and you definitely are having conversations with your agent about, ‘Take a cut or do this or put money over here.’ So why not say, ‘Okay, well, what’s everybody making? Let’s make sure it’s as equal as we can make it,'” Cooper told Good Morning America.

“I’ve been very lucky in the sense that I’ve been able to act with people, specifically actresses, again and again,” Cooper said, adding that working with Miller in American Sniper made him want her to play opposite him again in Burnt. “I just thought she would’ve been incredible, and she was.”

Burnt hits theaters Oct. 30.
