Tyra Banks Debuts New Post-Baby Look Featuring Dreadlocks

Tyra Banks is no stranger to different looks and styles considering her model resume and she took to her Instagram to debut her newest look: dreadlocks.

The 42-year-old Banks wore her hair in dreadlocks to the “Simply Stylist” conference in Los Angeles. The event marked Banks’ first red carpet appearance since welcoming son York back in January.

Banks and her boyfriend Erik Alsa welcomed their baby boy via surrogate.

“I’m on maternity leave right now, just taking a break,” she told E! News. “I’m understanding delegation, understanding that I don’t have to do everything to make something successful. I’m on maternity leave and Tyra Beauty is kickin’ butt!”

“So I balance that and [York’s] dad helps, and we go back and forth so that’s good,” she said of parenting responsibilities. “Erik does about 40 percent diaper duty at night. So we’re almost fifty-fifty.”

The model also added two other photos on Instagram showcasing her locks.
