Tyga will not face any charges of domestic violence related to an incident with ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson.
The rapper turned himself into the police after Swanson claimed that he abused her during a dispute in his home in October. His bail was set at $50,000.
Jack Ketsoyan, Tyga’s rep, said, “The allegations you have been reading about our client, Tyga, the past few days are false and will be disproven.”
Swanson then, however, shared on her Instagram Story that she has allegedly been “emotionally, mentally and physically abused” and wasn’t “hiding it anymore.”
Now, as long as he keeps out of trouble for the next year, Tyga is off the hook. If he fails to do so, he could be charged with misdemeanors in this case.
He will, in the meantime, sit down with prosecutors at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office to discuss how to appropriately handle conflicts in the future.
Despite the lawsuit, Tyga and Swanson are reportedly beginning to hang out again platonically.
