Trump’s All-Caps Rant Attacking ‘Joe Buden’ With Multiple Misspellings & Misused Words Raises Questions

In a social media post made at 1 a.m. on Tuesday, former President Donald Trump made an unexpected statement regarding the Affordable Care Act (ACA), commonly known as Obamacare. Trump followed with a more concerning all-caps rant that featured multiple misspellings and the misuse of multiple words.

On Tuesday, Trump posted the rant, “I’m not running to terminate the ACA, AS CROOKED JOE BUDEN DISINFORMATES AND MISINFORMATES ALL THE TIME, I’m running to CLOSE THE BORDER, STOP INFLATION, MAKE OUR ECONOMY GREAT, STRENGTHEN OUR MILITARY, AND MAKE THE ACA, or OBAMACARE, AS IT IS KNOWN, MUCH BETTER, STRONGER, AND FAR LESS EXPENSIVE. IN OTHER WORDS, MAKE THE ACA MUCH, MUCH, MUCH BETTER FOR FAR LESS MONEY (OR COST) TO OUR GREST AMERICAN CITIZENS, WHO HAVE BEEN DECIMATED BY BIDEN, HIS RECORD INFLATION, BAD ECONOMY, AFGHANISTAN CATASTROPHE, AND JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE. While it appears that Trump is attempting to clarify his stance on the ACA, his message became muddled as he blamed President Joe Biden and a mythical figure named “CROOKED JOE BUDEN” for the spread of “disinformates” and “misinformates.” These words are not recognized in the English language, but it seems he intended to use “disinforms” and “misinforms” instead.

The content of Trump’s message has raised speculation and generated various interpretations.

Some have questioned whether his TruthSocial account was hacked by a performance artist whose attempt at parody fell flat, being too reminiscent of Trump’s typical style. Others have wondered if this is a public display of sundowning and indicates a decline in mental acuity. Some even suggest hidden messages intended for Vladimir Putin or an indication of Trump’s admiration for rapper Joe Budden.

Trump’s claim that he can make the ACA “BETTER, STRONGER, AND FAR LESS MONEY,” is consistent with his stance expressed in 2015, 2016 and 2017, when he made repeated attempts to persuade Republicans to enact repeal legislation, which posed a risk of leaving numerous Americans without insurance coverage and removing safeguards for pre-existing conditions. In recent weeks, Biden has diligently directed voter attention toward the ACA and the danger it faces from Trump‘s campaign to regain the presidency.

Trump posted in November, “The cost of Obamacare is out of control, plus, it’s not good Healthcare. I’m seriously looking at alternatives.” Several days later, he posted again: “I don’t want to terminate Obamacare, I want to replace it with much better healthcare. Obamacare Sucks!!!”

The post comes after Trump has repeatedly slurred his words during campaign speeches and confused Biden with former President Barack Obama.
