Trump Family Nervous Donald Trump Jr. Will Bring New Girlfriend Bettina Anderson To The Inauguration
Following Donald Trump’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr.’s split from his fiancee, Kimberly Guilfoyle, his new relationship with Bettina Anderson has been met with intense disapproval from family and friends alike.
Anderson, a Florida socialite and social media influencer, has ignited concern that her political views are not sufficiently conservative, as old social media posts show her express support for liberal values such as Black Lives Matter and mask mandates. Anderson’s poorly disguised networking efforts among the high-profile family have further fueled suspicion about her intentions.
On Monday, anonymous friends of the Trump family revealed to Mediate, “Individuals close to the president have expressed growing concerns about the potential liability posed by his son’s new relationship.”
One added, “I told him that she’s not someone he should be around, and let him know about her past.”
Several sources have warned that Anderson has long been seen on the arm of rich men in Palm Beach. These claims have been fiercely denied by Anderson’s team.
Trump’s confidants further expressed Trump’s discontent at the thought of Trump Jr. bringing Anderson to the inauguration on Monday, for fear that this will solidify the couple in the public eye and permanently link her to the family.
The friend explained, “The idea that he might have the audacity to bring a casual partner on stage at the inauguration has been described as a potential misstep that could etch this relationship and its questionable nature into the history books.”
Trump Jr. and Anderson went public with their relationship directly following Trump Jr.’s split from Guilfoyle. Almost immediately after the separation, Trump made the surprise announcement that Guilfoyle would serve as the U.S. ambassador to Greece during his next term.
