Border Czar Tom Homan said the Trump Administration has “no apologies” for the recent ICE raids. Hollman was responding to a now-deleted Instagram post from Selena Gomez, which went viral.

In the post, Gomez is seen sobbing over the action taken against illegal immigrants, “All my people are getting attacked, the children. I don’t understand. I’m so sorry. I wish I could have done something, but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise,” Gomez said in the video.

The footage left some fans slamming the actress for sounding out of touch, forcing her to take down the video quickly.

Gomez later posted a follow-up on her Instagram story, writing, “Apparently, it’s not OK to show empathy for people.” Many Republican politicians took to X to slam the celebrity, calling her out for her post.

Homan denied that ICE is targeting law-abiding migrants, claiming that the feds are pursuing illegal migrants with prior criminal history.

“If they don’t like it, then go to Congress and change the law,” Homan told Fox News. “We’re going to do this operation without apology; we’re going to make our community safer. It is all for this nation’s good, and we will keep going. No apologies, we’re moving forward.”

Homan promised that there would be arrests every day. Over the weekend alone, ICE made a total of 1,242 arrests. Immigrant rights groups have already filed lawsuits against the Trump Administration for the rapid changes, claiming that raids in houses of worship are unconstitutional.

President Donald Trump recently promised to deport the worst criminal migrants to the U.S. military base in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba.
