Travis Kelce’s Mom Gives Son’s Girlfriend, Taylor Swift, Her Seal Of Approval

Donna Kelce, mother of Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, opened up about her son’s relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift to give her stamp of approval.

The 71-year-old mother of two NFL players was asked about her son’s relationship with Swift at the premiere of the latter’s new FX show Grotesquerie, one of several new projects Travis was involved in over the summer prior to the start of the 2024 NFL season.

“He’s a good guy. He really is. He’s good. He’s kind. He’s generous. And from what I understand, so is she,” Donna said when asked about their relationship.

Swift and Travis have been in a highly public relationship since summer 2023 and have gained enormous media attention for bridging the gap between Swift’s massive fanbase and NFL enthusiasts. They have been spotted at each other’s events repeatedly over the last year. Swift was also present at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas in February and was spotted celebrating the Chiefs’ victory against the San Francisco 49ers. 

“I hope they are having a good time,” she added.

Fans noticed quickly that while the Chiefs had a win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week Three of the NFL season, Kelce himself did not look enthused. Many attribute his melancholy attitude to Swift not being present in the audience cheering him on.

For Week Four, the Chiefs are expected to face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 29 at SoFi Stadium.
