Travis Kelce’s Ex-Girlfriend Kayla Nicole Denies Chiefs Star Made Her Pay For Half Of Everything

NFL player Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole has put an end to the rumors that she and Kelce broke up because he was “cheap.”

Kelce and Nicole dated from 2017 to 2022. After their split, rumors spread that Kelce had made Nicole pay for “half of everything.”

Nicole recently appeared on the Unapologetically Angel podcast and set the story straight. She stated, “Do I look like anybody that would split anything?” 

The notion was supposedly first introduced by Barstool Sports, which published details of the claims in May 2022. The initial article declared, “Chivalry? Nope, not for Travis Kelce. He may be telling her it’s to prove she’s not after the wallet, but deep down that man has no plans of running out of money like other pro athletes who have blown through their contracts in the past. The thought of him Venmo requesting rent from her on the first of every month is simply incredible.”

She dubbed the claim “ridiculous” and continued, “He addressed that too, though; I don’t even know why that even became a thing. That was never an issue in our relationship, but it was definitely a rumor on the internet.”

Kelce had previously commented on the gossip, “You’ve got to be crazy if you’d think I would never help or gave her a couple thousand to grab some food or she gave me some money to go get some food… we were in a relationship for five years. A hundred dollars here, a hundred dollars there wasn’t even thought about.”

As Kelce has been in a highly publicized relationship with Taylor Swift this past year, he has made it clear numerous times that Swift’s fame does not bother him. Nicole, by contrast, stated in the podcast that she would be keeping her relationships private in the future. 

“People can’t pick at what they don’t know about…I would just protect my relationships here on out,” she said.
