Tori Spelling, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star, has once again found herself at the center of a real estate drama. The actress, 51, and her family of five children have reportedly vacated their most recent rental home in the west San Fernando Valley.
The $15,000-per-month rental, which Spelling had only occupied for four months, has been described by one of her former neighbors as “completely trashed,” according to The Daily Mail. The homeowner claims a clean-up crew had to fill a “big dumpster” several times to clear the property. “The smell of urine is everywhere, on the couch cushions and inside the home,” they added. “There are marks all over the walls, from who knows what.”
“Let’s just say I doubt she’ll be getting her security deposit back,” the neighbor said.
Despite the reported condition of the property, the home has been relisted for rent at a higher price of $16,950 per month, an increase of almost $2,000. This marks Spelling and her children’s fourth residence within the last year.
The family’s housing struggles have been further exacerbated by a previous forced evacuation from a rental property due to a mold infestation. After a brief stint in a motel and an RV, Spelling and her children settled into a “fully furnished rental home” in the Woodland Hills area, only to move out a week later due to an armed hostage situation at a neighboring property.
Despite the financial assistance offered by Spelling’s wealthy mother, Candy Spelling, and her friend, Josh Flagg, the actress’s housing woes continue. Amid these turbulent rental sagas, Spelling also faces personal financial challenges, reportedly owing City National Bank over $200,000 in an unpaid loan.
