Curb Your Enthusiasm‘s seventh season followed a fictionalized version of Larry David setting to work on making a Seinfeld reunion. Editing the sitcom, That ’70s Show actor Topher Grace shows what that reunion might have looked like if David had actually made one.
“I edited all the Seinfeld scenes from Curb season 7 into one episode,” Grace wrote on Facebook Tuesday. “It’s more like a radio play, but if you sew together all the dialogue from audition scenes, read-throughs and rehearsals together… a 9 minute hint at what the plot of a reunion might have been.”

In the footage that Grace put together, the reunion would have focused on George (Jason Alexander) losing money made in an iToilet app venture to Bernie Madoff and his Ponzi scheme. It would also feature the always hapless George getting back with Amanda following a divorce. As for Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld), he’s trying to figure out if Elaine’s (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) child – for whom he donated the sperm – should call him Uncle Jerry or Daddy.
Curb Your Enthusiasm ran for eight seasons between 2000-2011. Seinfeld had gone off the air in 1998 after a 9-season run.
