The Tonight Show will not air new episodes this week after host Jimmy Fallon‘s mother Gloria Fallon passed away.

Gloria died of an undisclosed illness on Saturday. She was 68. Fallon had canceled his Friday show to be with her in the hospital. “On behalf of everyone at NBC, we extend our deepest condolences to Jimmy and all his family at this time of enormous loss,” NBC said in a statement. “Our hearts go out to Jimmy and everyone else whose lives were so touched by Gloria Fallon’s love, kindness and support.”

The network said that it will air reruns of the show in its normal 11:35 pm time slot. A spokesperson for Fallon reported that the host said he lost his “biggest fan” in his mother.

Since the news broke, friends, fans, and celebrities alike have taken to social media to share their condolences for the host. “Mom is the first audience and the best. Remembering Jimmy Fallon and his family in our prayers today,” tweeted Stephen Colbert, who lost his own mother in 2013.

“I’m sad to say my friend Jimmy’s mother has passed away… sending him all the love in my heart … Keep smilin Jimmy…..,” said Miley Cyrus, who performed each night for a whole week on the show last month. “l know it’s tough to do when we lose someone we care about , I couldnt image not havin my mama…. I am so sorry ….”

Terri Irwin added, “So very sad to hear about @jimmyfallon’s mum, Gloria. She must have been a beautiful soul because her son has such a kind and loving heart.”

“Thinking of @jimmyfallon and his family,” said Lin-Manuel Miranda. “My parents & his parents hung out last summer, & Gloria had us in stitches. We will miss her.”
