Toni Collette Splits From Husband Dave Galafassi After He’s Photographed Kissing Woman At Beach

Toni Collette, best known for her roles in The Sixth Sense and Little Miss Sunshine, split from her husband of almost 20 years.

On Wednesday, husband Dave Galafassi was spotted taking a swim and passionately kissing chiropractor Shannon Egan.

The actress took to Instagram to announce she was divorcing her husband. “It is with grace and gratitude that we announce we are divorcing,” she said. “We’re united in our decision and part with continuing respect and care for each other. Our kids are of paramount importance to us and we will continue to thrive as a family, albeit a different shape.”

In recent years the couple spent their time between the U.S. and Australia. The pair met in 2002 and married a year later in a Buddhist ceremony. Now, they share two kids, aged 14 and 11.

Colette is also a singer and songwriter and, in 2006, released an album with Galafassi, Beautiful Awkward Pictures. The pair also did a live performance at the Sydney Opera House. However, they have not performed or released any music since 2007.
