Tommie Lee, ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Star, Talks About Clash With Police [VIDEO EXCLUSIVE]

Tommie Lee’s Encounter With The Police by Uinterview

One of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta‘s fastest rising stars, Tommie Lee, has had her problems in the past. From long-time issues with her friends and family, to her frequent run-ins with the law, controversy seems to follow Lee wherever she goes.

Recently, she has been trying to make a change, but a clash with Georgia police in January has called that change into question. But Lee says, this time, it was all the cops’ fault.

“We were leaving the club, of course, and in that particular area, [the cops] always f*** with you,” Lee told uInterview exclusively.

Lee says the incident began when a police officer thought he saw the car which Lee and three others were in, wobble. The officer believed that this meant the driver, who he thought was Lee, was moving to the backseat.

“[The policeman] had come to the car and said, ‘You were driving,’ and I was like, ‘How am I driving from the back seat?’ So then he goes into, ‘Get out of the car, get out of the car,’ with all this force and s***.”

And that’s when the violence began, according to Lee.

“He grabbed me, threw me on to the ground, pushed my head into the ground, and everything. It was real bad. I was bruised up real bad and I couldn’t even film.”

Things only seemed to get worse once Lee was brought to the hospital. Handcuffed to the bed, Lee asked if she could go to the bathroom. The cop refused and told her instead to urinate on herself. Lee declined his offer, but on the way from the hospital to jail, the aspiring musician had another idea.

“We got in the [police] car and I couldn’t hold it no more so, hey, that was a proper place to piss … in your car. How about this?” Lee said. “Better than pissing on myself in a hospital bed, you a**hole.”

Lee says that she believes that there are good police officers out there, despite her many interactions with officers that may seem otherwise.

“I know there are good officers out there but I just haven’t ran into any.”

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on VH1.
