Tom Hardy Catches Real-Life Criminal, Propels Decision To Cast Him As Next James Bond
Tom Hardy has long been considered next for the role of international super spy James Bond.
TOM HARDY FIRST IN LINE FOR BOND AFTER CATCHING REAL CRIMINAL
Now, the actor has been propelled even further in the decision-making process after he chased down and caught a real-life thief on Tuesday. Hardy, 39, spotted a man stealing a bike and chased him through a building site in London. He vaulted fences to catch the criminal.
“I caught the c–t,” he declared proudly after snagging the bad guy. “This little s–t nicked something and now he has himself a broken leg.”
“Tom must have been walking down the road,” explained an eyewitness to The Sun. “He went off like a shot in pursuit and looked furious. If the kid had been dumb enough to resist I reckon Tom would have given him a good hiding… It was mental,” he continued, “like he’d switched to superhero mode in an action movie. Two boys on the nicked moped had jumped a red light and smashed into a car.”
With producers unsure if current Bond star Daniel Craig will return as the spy, Hardy has been one of the top contenders. Hardy’s odds overtook those of Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender, Aiden Turner, and Edward Norton with this escapade.
