Tom Hanks
Tom Hanks was jogging in New York City’s Central Park over the weekend, when he spotted a wedding photoshoot and decided to crash it.
Catching sight of the wedding shoot, Hanks opted to take a break from his workout to photobomb the unsuspecting couple on their wedding day. “Ryan you’re a lucky man. Elizabeth you’re a lucky woman,” said Hanks upon meeting the couple, according to PIX 11.
Ryan and Elizabeth went on to invite Hanks to their wedding, which was soon to follow the photoshoot. Though Hanks declined to be a guest, he did offer to marry the two should their minister not make it.
“I am an ordained minister, if the guy cancels just let me know,” Hanks quipped.
On Twitter, Hanks shared a picture of himself with the couple. “Elizabeth and Ryan! Congrats and blessings! Hanx,” the Sully actor tweeted.
The photographer on the wedding shoot, Meg Miller, posted a series of pictures of the couple’s encounter with Hanks. “Yesterday’s wedding was so beautiful!” Miller captioned the collage on Instagram. “Elisabeth and Ryan you planned one amazing celebration. The icing on the cake was @tomhanks stopping in Central Park to wish them congratulations.”
