In London’s East End, Cruise, famous for doing his own stunts, hopped onto a barge outfitted in a dapper tuxedo during the night shoot. Pegg, at his side, was equally ready for a formal night out as the two walked alongside a canal. In between scenes, the pair of actors bundled up against the chilly evening in hooded jackets.

For this latest installment in the long-running franchise, Cruise is also serving as a producer. In an effort to make sure the movie comes together as planned, Cruise also took time on set to give some instructions to members of the crew.

In addition to Cruise and Pegg, Mission: Impossible 5 also stars Alec Baldwin, Rebecca Ferguson and Ving Rhames. They’ve been filming on location in Austria, Monaco and Morocco in addition to Great Britain.

It was announced Monday that Mission: Impossible 5’s release date has been bumped up from Christmas Day 2015, and will now hit theaters July 31.
