In Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s quickly-concluded divorce, there was minimal financial drama possible because of the pair’s strict prenup.
Their divorce was both filed and finalized on October 28.
A source told Page Six their prenup was “ironclad” and mentioned, “They both have their own separate business entities, so the separation of their wealth wasn’t that complicated in the end. The only other major factor was dividing up their massive property portfolio.”
The details of their parenting plan and how the properties will be divvied up have not been revealed publicly. Sources have said that they have a joint parenting plan, at the very least.
Leading up to the divorce, Bündchen purchased a property in the Miami Beach area, so it seems she still wants to spend time in Florida.
Sometimes when it comes to celebrity couples, these divorce proceedings can take years. An example of this is Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Jolie and Pitt separated in 2016 and were declared legally single in 2019, but are still butting heads over businesses they are tied in together to this day.
If you were just a football fan who didn’t know Bündchen prior to her marriage to Brady, you may assume he makes more from his NFL salary. The international supermodel actually has a higher net worth than Brady, $400 million to his $333 million. Bündchen was the world’s highest-paid model from 2002 to 2016.
