Tom Brady, appearing in court for a Deflategate hearing on Wednesday, was captured in a courtroom sketch that failed to… look anything like him. The internet decided to poke fun at the sketch by posting some funny memes.
A New York City courtroom sketch artist Jane Rosenberg was an unfortunate victim of the web outrage after her sketch of Brady at the NFL hearing went viral on Wednesday.
Brady is known for his handsome look, and they were not thrilled with Rosenberg’s inability to draw Brady accurately. So in popular internet fashion, fans use memes to express their feelings.
After the reaction from fans, Rosenberg felt the need to issue an apology. “Tell Tom Brady I’m sorry. He’s a very good-looking guy, and if I didn’t make him look good enough, I’ll try harder next time,” Rosenberg told VICE Sports.
“I’m working very quickly. Obviously, I have a lot of pressure on me, and it’s time pressure. It’s lucky if I have a few minutes. So I’m just trying to grab onto something, just as quick as I can,” Rosenberg explained.
