Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford dressed as Wayne and Garth from Wayne’s World as part of Today’s Saturday Night Live-themed Halloween episode on Friday, Oct. 31.

Today Show's Saturday Night Live Halloween

Today anchors are known for their commitment to Halloween – last year Matt Lauer made waves after dressing up as Pamela Anderson from Baywatch. This year, Lauer and the Today gang decided to do a full Saturday Night Live re-enactment, kicking off the show with a 20-minute segment full of classic SNL sketches. Not only that, but the segment featured an SNL player dressed up as one of Today’s own: Keenan Thompson introduced the segment in full Al Roker getup.

Kotb and Gifford recreated the famous Mike Myers and Dana Carvey sketch on Today Friday morning, but they weren’t the only ones indulging in a little classic SNL fun.

The morning show opened with anchors Willie Geist and Tamron Hall recreating Will Ferrell and Cheri Oteri’s Spartan cheerleaders.

Al Roker and Lester Holt took on The Blues Brothers and Natalie Morales re-enacted Molly Shannon’s Mary Katherine Gallagher.

Finally, Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie welcomed back Meredith Vieira to re-create SNL’s fake commercial for “Mom Jeans,” and Matt Lauer closed out the fun segment with a short recreation of Julia Sweeney’s Pat.
