TLC To Debut 'Extreme Cougar Wives'

The latest TLC train wreck to join such programming as Toddlers & Tiaras, Long Island Medium, Strange Sex, Sister Wives and, of course, flagship show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, is the new TLC special, Extreme Cougar Wives, which follows three older women — Hattie, Stephanie and Jude — who love to date younger men. Much younger men. We're talking even beyond standards set by the Courteney Cox-helmed show, Cougar Town, or the real lives of Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Sam Taylor-Johnson and Eva Longoria, for that matter.

"I'm 37 years older than he is," Stephanie, 65, says of her boyfriend, Octavio, 28, on the show. "You can't control who you fall in love with."

Jude, 53, who dates Kevin, 21 — the ex-boyfriend of her daughter from seven years prior — feels the same magical way about love and agrees that it doesn't always pay attention to numbers. "It's amazing what falling in love will do for your self-image," she says. After the promo for the show reveals what is clearly turning out to be a wedding between the two, Kevin appears to have one overarching concern. "How the hell am I going to tell my parents?" he says.
