Tito Jackson joined host Andy Cohen on the Andy Cohen Live Sirius XM radio show this week — and revealed details of sister Janet Jackson‘s pregnancy.
“Janet is very well pregnant. She’s doing very well, taking it easy. As you know, she’s off tour, so she’s protecting her health,” Tito told Cohen. “She’s hoping for a healthy baby.”
The singer surprised fans with a video announcing that her “Unbreakable” world tour would be postponed as advised by her doctors.
“We’re in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change,” Janet said in the video. “My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.”
“Please, if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders, but I have not forgotten about you,” the pop star explained. “I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can.”
Janet, 50, and Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana, 41, were married privately in 2012, with their wedding going unnoticed until 2013.
Janet hasn’t been seen publicly since her videotaped announcement to fans.
Cohen noted the rumors suggesting Janet was using a surrogate, but Tito denied them, insisting she is pregnant, and “doesn’t know whether she’s going to have a boy or girl.” He did not say when Janet was due.
