Timothy Bliefnick, ‘Family Feud’ Contestant Who Joked About Regretting Marrying Wife, Starts Trial For Her Murder
A Family Feud contestant who joked during the show that he regretted getting married is now on trial for fatally shooting his wife.
Timothy Bliefnick, 39, was arrested on March 13. He has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of home invasion in regard to Rebecca Bliefnick‘s death. He has pleaded not guilty.
Earlier this week, the prosecution’s witnesses appeared in court. Rebecca’s sister, Sarah Reilly, testified that she had been made aware of Rebecca’s growing concern that her estranged husband may physically harm her. She said that Rebecca had texted her in 2021 that if something ever happened to her, “make sure the number one person of interest is Tim.”
The prosecution stated that Timothy searched on the Internet how to use a crowbar to open a window, police response times and how to make a silencer from home just before Rebecca’s death.

Prosecutors accuse Timothy of using a crowbar to break into Rebecca’s bedroom and shooting her 14 times.
Court records show that at the time of Rebecca’s alleged murder, the couple was proceeding with a divorce. Rebecca had filed a restraining order from her husband in 2021.
Timothy and his family appeared on Family Feud in 2020. When host Steve Harvey asked him, “What’s your biggest mistake you made at your wedding?” Timothy replied, “Honey, I love you, but, ‘Said I do.'”
He quickly explained that it wasn’t his mistake but his answer for the game. He later said, “I love my wife. I’m gonna get in trouble for that, aren’t I?”
