Timothée Chalamet rode a green e-bike to the premiere of A Complete Unknown in London on Jan. 14 at BFI Southbank.
When questioned about his ride, the actor said his decision was ecological and that a bike was faster than riding in a car. It was probably also an homage to Bob Dylan, who loves bikes.
Chalamet wore a Martine Rose suit, an Aegon blue blazer, matching slacks, a black and white snakeskin print belt and black leather dress shoes. He accessorized the outfit with Cartier diamond rings and a necklace, which complemented his bike.
He got a $73 fine for not parking the bike correctly while promoting the movie in France on the talk show Quotidien.
All the press generated for the movie has paid off – A Complete Unknown generated $51 million in its first week.
Chalamet was praised for his performance as Dylan in the movie. He was nominated for several awards, including the Golden Globes and SAG Awards. At the Globes, he was seen snuggling up to his girlfriend, billionaire cosmetics queen Kylie Jenner.
Dylan commented on Chalamet’s performance, calling him a “brilliant actor.”
