Timothée Chalamet Attends Premiere Of ‘Bones & All’ In Revealing Red Outfit For Venice Film Festival 2022

The 79th Venice Film Festival is continuing in beautiful Lido di Venezia, Italy, and one of the big premieres of the night is the new film by Italian director Luca Guadagnino, Bones & All.

The film is a coming-of-age romantic horror adventure starring Timothée Chalamet and Taylor Russell as two runaways named Lee and Maren who connect in the 1980s taking a road trip across America and coming to realize they both are cannibals.

Much of the film’s cast, which also includes Chloë Sevigny, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mark Rylance and the director David Gordon Green, fielded press questions along with director Guadagnino about the movie this morning.

On playing characters in a different time period, Chalamet said, “It was a relief to play characters that are wrestling with internal drama absent the ability to go on Reddit or Twitter or social media or TikTok to see where they fit in.”

He also noted that while there is a ton of hype around his appearance in the movie, he said the film “is Taylor’s movie and she does a beautiful job carrying it.”

Russell is a Canadian actress who was a main cast member on the well-received Lost In Space reboot from Netflix and also gave an acclaimed performance in Waves, a 2019 drama film from A24.

Early reviews of the festival screenings are mostly positive, with most viewers generally saying the film does a good job balancing horror elements with romance and delivers two incredible performances from the young actors Russell and Chalamet.

Bones & All is also slated to tour other festivals including Fantastic Fest, Telluride Film Festival and the New York Film Festival.

It will then have a wide theatrical release on November 23.
