Tiger Woods grew aggravated with photographers while in his backswing on the 18th hole at the British Open on Thursday, leading him to shout in their direction.
Woods became frustrated setting up his shot on the 18th hole. During his backswing, one of the nearby photographers coughed, cleared his throat or made some other noise that threw off the golfer.
“Jesus Christ,” Woods yelled in the direction of the photogs. “Guys!”
Despite the distraction from the gallery of photographers, Woods managed to make par on the par-5 hole.
Woods’ 17th hole was also eventful. His tee-shot on the hole had taken a bounce and ended up striking a course marshal on the side of the face.
At the end of the day on the green at Royal Liverpool, Woods was 3-under par and tied for ninth place. He was three shots behind the course leader, Rory McIlroy, who’d shot 6-under.
