Carole Baskin, the wild cats’ rights activist who rose to fame in Netflix’s hit docuseries Tiger King, is joining the cast of Dancing With the Stars.
Baskin recently made news for criticizing the appearance of wild cats in Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion‘s music video for “WAP.” She made news again later on for joking she could slap comedian Chloe Fineman for her impression of Baskin on Saturday Night Live. The addition of the self-proclaimed cat lady to the cast definitely raised some eyebrows as she has be questioned about the disappearance of her late husband. .
ABC announced the season 29 cast on Good Morning America on Wednesday, which included a long list of famous faces. Other stars joining Baskin this season include Chrishell Stause from Selling Sunset, Monica Aldama from Cheer, AJ McLean from the Backstreet Boys, actress Skai Jackson, actress Anne Heche, figure skater Johnny Weir, and more.
