The internet can finally rest, as Tiffany Haddish has finally revealed who the Beyonce-biting culprit was.

In March, Haddish said in an interview that an unidentified actress bit Beyonce back in December, after the singer intervened with the actress flirting with Jay-Z. Haddish recalls having Beyonce holding her back from “fighting a b—h.”

Following her interview, Haddish put the internet into a frenzy of pointing fingers on who it could have been. After speculation, fans were able to narrow it down to two actresses: Sanaa Lathan and Sara Foster. Both denied the allegations, Foster saying it is “flattering that anyone thinks [she] could get [that] close to Beyoncé” and Lathan saying she did not, but if she did it “would have been a love bite”.

Different outlets have claimed that it was Lathan, and in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter Haddish confirms that it is true.

Haddish talks about how she knows Lathan’s father and stepmom and how they were less than thrilled that she started the speculation. “I’m super good friends with her stepmom and her dad, and they were mad at me,” Haddish said. “They were like, ‘Why would you do this to the family? You know, black actresses, you guys have to stick together, it’s so hard for you guys to get work as it is, why would you try to ruin her career?’ But I didn’t try to ruin her career. I never said her name! I was just trying to say how Beyonce kept me from goin’ to jail that night. I coulda just shut my whole career down.”

Lathan has not spoke out about Haddish confirming the speculation, however, she has constantly denied them prior.

Haddish also shared that the whole ordeal got her invited to a lot more parties. “I got invited to way more parties after that,” Haddish said. “It’s ridiculous how many parties. ‘Can you come to my party?’ ‘Can you come to my thing?’ They want me to talk about something at their thing ’cause they think, like, ‘This is gonna put me back on if Tiffany says something.’”
