Tiffany Haddish Arrested For DUI For A Second Time

Actress Tiffany Haddish, 43, was arrested on Friday morning for a DUI charge. 

The Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD) reported that Haddish was allegedly found asleep behind the wheel of a running vehicle, which caused a disturbance on the road.

The incident occurred on Beverly Drive, a street known for its wide variety of high-end stores. The arrest followed a concerned citizen’s call at around 5:45 a.m. It was reported that Haddish was found “slumped over the wheel while the car was running.” 

She is expected to be released from custody later today and was cooperative with her arrest. 

Haddish had performed the previous night at The Laugh Factory in West Hollywood for the venue’s annual free Thanksgiving feast event.

This recent arrest follows a previous DUI-related incident in January 2022. Haddish was found asleep in her car by Peachtree City police officers in Georgia. She was suspected of DUI and improper stopping on a roadway. The police received a 911 call that reported a driver had fallen asleep at the wheel on Highway 74. When the vehicle was located, officers conducted a traffic stop, which led to Haddish’s arrest for driving under the influence. She was taken to the Fayette County Jail without incident.

Haddish addressed the earlier incident when she guested on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in April 2022, she jokingly referred to DUI as “Dumb Unfortunate Incidents.” 

She is scheduled to appear in court on December 4 for that case.

Haddish gained widespread recognition for her role in the 2017 comedy film Girls Trip. Haddish has since appeared in various films and television shows, such as Night School, The Kitchen, and The Last O.G. Haddish has also written a memoir, The Last Black Unicorn, which was released in 2017. Throughout her career, she has received several awards and nominations for her contributions to the entertainment industry.

Haddish was recently in the headlines for a lawsuit brought against her and comedian Aries Spears over a video in which they allegedly defamed someone. The suit was later dropped.
