Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced biotech mogul, and Jen Shah, an alum of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, are becoming friends in prison.
“They’re friends. They’re both rehabilitating and have bonded over being on this journey of positive change. Their situations brought them together, and they have a good understanding of one another. They’re getting through it together,” a rep for Shah told People.
Holmes was convicted of fraud in January 2022 and is currently serving an 11-year sentence, while Shah began a six-and-a-half-year sentence in February 2023 after pleading guilty to wire fraud. Both are in the federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas.
At the prison, they are subjected to a 6 a.m. wake-up call and are expected to keep their cells clean.
