‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Filming

The Walking Dead cast and crew are back in Atlanta to begin shooting scenes for the hit AMC TV series’ much-anticipated fourth season. AMC recently released the first image of the upcoming season, in which Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes stands in a forest with a walker close behind him.

Starring Lincoln, Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun and Norman Reedus, The Walking Dead TV show is based off of a comic book series of the same name, written by Robert Kirkman and published by Skybound.

Season 3 of The Walking Dead took TV by storm, beating out top network and cable programs alike. Its ratings exceeded that of Emmy-winning The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family and Game of Thrones, and reality TV’s The Voice. It also nearly doubled the ratings of The History Channel’s record-breaking miniseries, The Bible, for adults 18-49.

The Walking Dead will return to AMC with a 16-episode 4th season in October.
