‘The Walking Dead’ Airs Its First Episode Of Season 10C Early On AMC Premiere App

The 17th episode of The Walking Dead’s tenth season aired a week ahead of its official release date for February 28. The fans have been waiting in great anticipation to see the last quarter of the tenth season following the fan-favorite character Maggie Greene’s (Lauren Cohan) return to the show and the cliffhanger ending during the last episode of Season 10B. The first episode of season 10C titled Home Sweet Home was released on the app AMC Premiere for viewers who are subscribed to the service. The episode will air normally on television during the following Sunday on the network AMC.

The first episode of season 10C The Walking Dead deals with Maggie’s return to the group after leaving during the ninth season episode What Comes After. Now with her son Hershel (Kien Michael Spiller) and two new companions named Elijah (Okea Eme-Akwari) and Cole (James Devoti), Maggie reconnects with Daryl (Norman Reedus) and catches up with him on what they have both been through while they were apart. Maggie is horrified to discover that the Hiltop Colony, the safe zone in which she was in charge in was destroyed by Alpha (Samantha Morton) and her antagonistic group The Whisperers. To make matters more complicated for her, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) has been let out of his prison cell and is more or less a member of the group now. Devastated that a place that was once her home burned down and her husband’s (Steven Yuen) murderer is now free and suddenly an ally to her group, Maggie goes with Daryl to find The Reapers, a clan of hostile survivors who attacked her new group and will likely serve as the main antagonists the last quarter of this season. Towards the end of the episode, Maggie takes her son to the Alexandria safe zone, where Negan is forced to deal with the horrific realization that he murdered her husband while she was pregnant.

The episode Home Sweet Home will premiere on television on February 28 followed in the coming weeks by five more episodes that will finally serve as a conclusion to the season.
