The Voice is down to its live top 12 elimination episode.
Results day opens with Gwen Stefani performing her single, “Misery.”
Team Blake’s Adam Wakefield and Alisan Porter from Team Christina are the first two saves for the night.
When discussing her team, Christina Aguilera calls them “extraordinary.”
“They’re just complete naturals and I just feel humbled and blessed to have a chance to work with them,” Aguilera said.
Blake Shelton and his team perform 80’s country hit, “I Love A Rainy Night.” It was a solid group performance with a guitar solo by Wakefield.
Team Adam performs “If You Want Me To Stay” reassuring America that his group is definitely eclectic. Each singer has something to bring to the table. Both Shalyah Fearing and Laith Al-Saadi secure their spot in the next round.
Team Christina and Team Blake remain safe heading into the top 11. Team Adam’s Owen Danoff and Team Pharrell’s Emily Keener are in the bottom two. The two perform in hope to get America’s instant tweet to save.
Keener sings a beautifully soft rendition of “Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain.” Aguilera was surprised to see her in the bottom two because of Monday’s incredible performance of “Lilac Wine.”
Danoff sings Ed Sheeran’s “Lego House.” It was a decent performance but nothing special.
America sees greatness in Danoff as he moves on to preserve Team Adam.
