Zac Efron has gained some major muscles for the new Baywatch movie and co-star Dwayne Johnson made the young actor put his muscles to work. The two just finished filming and decided to test their strength by battling each other in a tire shrugging competition which lasted for hours.

Johnson and Efron gave their fans an inside scoop on Instagram, by showing what happens behind the scenes when these two musclehead’s are on set. Efron posted an Instagram photo saying, “Blood, sweat and respect. The first two you give, the last one you earn.” Learned that from @therock who I happened to get in a tire flipping race with on #Baywatch. Needless to say I lost this one – come at me on the 50 yard dash and we’ll see what happens, Sasquatch ;)”

The Rock is proud of Efron’s chiseled physique and realizes the hard work he’s been putting in. “On a side discipline note juuuuuust wait til you see the insane shape my boy Efron got in for our movie. Proud of the hard work he put in. That’s the way you make a character “Iconic”,” Johnson captioned one of his Instagram photos.

Johnson still has years on this young actor and “kicked his candy ass,” he noted. Efron accepted the loss, but then challenged “Sasquatch” to a 50-yard dash.

Baywatch, directed by Seth Gordon, is expect to hit the theaters in May 2017.
